Andrea Fischer

WELCOME TO MY EPORTFOLIO

I have recently completed my PhD under the supervision of Prof. R.A. Roemer in the Department of Physics at the University of Warwick, UK. I begin as an Early Career Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies, University of Warwick at the beginning of April 2011. My research area is condensed matter theory. I have undertaken projects on the Anderson transition and the excitonic Aharonov-Bohm effect. At the moment I am particularly interested in the interplay between interactions and disorder in graphene, an unusual and exciting material, which has recently been discovered.

For more information please see my research interests, thesis, publication list, presentations, Curriculum Vitae.
