    Welcome to my research......

"Thallium (Tl) and Tin (Sn) containing glasses has been studied using solid-stste nuclear magnetic resonance (Solid-state NMR), neutron diffraction and X-ray diffraction. Thallium and Tin tend to form the bond with oxygen in glass and causing the generating of lone pair electrons. These lone pair electrons are possible sterical active in a specific range of composition. Thus, the variation of thallium or tin content in glass has not only been investigated, the variation of glass former, e.g. SiO2, B2O3 and GeO2 has also been interesting. The crystal phases, devitrified from glasses in various system have also been studied."
