What the students say:I benefited from doing this course because I have learnt new maths skills in areas which I may be weaker in. I also enjoyed the fact that we could share our findings with other students which was fun and educational. Sally I really liked the maths course though it was a bit difficult at the same time. When are you going to run it again????? Guy Phi is amazing, and not being into maths I hadn't quite grasped that it isn't just maths - it's everything and everywhere. I think it's AMAZING. I'm definitely going to be doing more research on Phi, The Golden Ratio, The Fibonacci Sequence. Clare It has defiantly improved my knowledge on Fibonacci numbers, though I have yet not learnt to pronounce Fibonacci! Sarah The thing I enjoyed most about this course was writing your own Fibonacci Poetry which made me think more about how many syllables went into each word. Sally-Anne Maths is not usually one of may favourite subjects at all so this course gave me a little boost of confidence and it showed me how interesting numbers can be. Maggie
