Welcome to the IGGY Pilot

Since January 2011 we have been expanding our IGGY team and have joined forces with a variety of partners, including technology leaders IBM and Cisco in order that IGGY can move to a lively online model which will attract and engage gifted and talented young people from across the world.

After our successful online testing period we are now launching our online Pilot. Over the coming months we will have lots more new and exciting content for our IGGY members to try out and we would like to encourage you to let us know what you think.

We'll be continuously adding content, so check back here regularly.

Content will include:

right-arrow.jpg Computer Programming: extending the initial testing content, 'The Basics of yaBASIC' by adding four new modules: Games and Decisions; Graphics in yaBASIC; Animations in yaBASIC; and Games with Graphics in yaBASIC.
right-arrow.jpg Ask the Expert: your opportunity to ask questions to some of our academic experts in their specialised fields. First up will be George Rowlands, an expert in fission and fusion physics.
right-arrow.jpg Prof Ian Stewart's Compendium of Mathematical Cats: a new podcast series with Professor Stewart, a leading academic in the field of Mathematics and a widely known popular-science and science-fiction writer.
right-arrow.jpg Creative Writing, The INKUBATOR: extending the intial testing content by looking at ENDINGS and TRANSPORT.
