How to apply

How you apply to Warwick depends on what type of course you are applying for:

Undergraduate admissions

All applications to undergraduate degree programmes must be made through UCAS (University Central Admissions Service). You are not able to apply to the University directly. To apply through UCAS you will need to fill in an application form with your selection of up to five universities and/or courses that you want to apply for. For further information on how to apply, please see Undergraduate Study.

Students who have only completed a 12 year high school system may be required to take a foundation programme before applying to study a degree course at the University of Warwick. Applications for the Warwick International Foundation Programme (Warwick IFP) should be made directly to the University.

Warwick International Foundation Programme

Applications for the Warwick International Foundation Programme (Warwick IFP) are made directly to the Warwick IFP Team in the International Office. Information on the course and an online application form can be found on the Warwick IFFP website. There is a £35 Sterling application fee.

Postgraduate admissions

Postgraduate applications should be made directly to the University. For further information on how to apply, please see Postgraduate Study or go directly to the online application form

For most taught postgraduate applications there is a standard application fee of £35 Sterling for online applications or £60 Sterling for paper applications. PhD applications do not require an application fee.

The MBA course has a different application fee and MBA students should use a separate application form.

Study Abroad students

Students who wish to join the University of Warwick for one year or part of the year as an element of their University studies in their home country can find information on how to apply to Warwick on the visiting and exchange programmes website.
