RISKS & RESTRICTIONS (for students enrolling on a new course with a pending visa application)

By submitting this form you are agreeing to the Risk & Restrictions Statement below. If you disagree, please do not proceed. Instead, you should attend an 'In-person Visa Checks' Event (you do not need to book a slot) - More information can be found here: https://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/academicoffice/ourservices/enrolment/immigrationevents/ • Once an International Student Adviser has assessed the evidence provided and is satisfied that you are eligible to enrol on the course before you receive your new visa, you will be notified by email with information as to how to complete online enrolment.

• If you are permitted to enrol and start the course while your visa application is under consideration, you do so at your own risk. If your application is refused, you may be temporarily withdrawn from your studies under University regulations.

• If you applied for a Student visa using a CAS from Warwick, and you are not eligible to re-apply from inside the UK following a refusal, you will need to return home to submit a new student visa application from overseas.

• In all cases, if you are unable to secure an appropriate visa or present evidence that you have taken actions to regularise your stay in the UK (which also allows study) within the required timeframe, you may be advised to defer studies until the next academic year.

• You must keep the Immigration Service informed of the progress of your application and when granted, bring your original passport and new visa to the immigration service, or risk being withdrawn for failure to present valid immigration permission.
