Clearing at Warwick

Clearing is a UCAS service that helps people without a university place find suitable vacancies. The list of Warwick courses in Clearing is now available.

Who can use Clearing?

Most people who use Clearing have already applied through UCAS but have not secured a place on a course. You may be eligible for Clearing because of one of the following reasons:

  • You are not holding any offers from universities or colleges
  • Your offers were not confirmed when your exam results were announced
  • You have declined, or not responded to, a changed course, a changed date of entry or a changed point of entry offer
  • You have applied too late for you application to be considered before Clearing When you become eligible for Clearing UCAS will automatically send you a Clearing Passport (CP).

You will need to quote your UCAS ID and Clearing Passport Number during Clearing.

The Clearing Hotline: 

 If you wish to apply for a course in Clearing you will need to call the Hotline. The number is +44(0) 2476 533 544. If you do call the Hotline, you will need:

  • your Personal UCAS ID number
  • your full name and date of birth
  • the relevant course and course code

Please note that from Tuesday 1st September please call the Undergraduate Admissions team on +44 (0) 2476 533 544 with any enquiries regarding clearing.
