What are Warwick Visits?
Warwick Visits are NOT full Open Days but offer an alternative opportunity for you to visit our campus if you are unable to attend on an Open Day. Please read below for what is included and not included in a Warwick Visit. Each visit lasts approximately 2 hours.
Dates for Warwick Visits in 2010 will be published here later in the year.
Who are Warwick Visits for?
Warwick Visits are predominantly designed for students who have not yet applied to either an Undergraduate or Postgraduate course at the University although anyone is welcome to attend. Parents and supporters are always welcome to come along as well!
What Warwick Visits include:
- An introduction to what the University has to offer both academically and socially through a short presentation by a member of our Recruitment and Admissions team.
- A chance to speak to a member of our Recruitment and Admissions team in small friendly groups.
- An opportunity to meet current students and ask them about what life is really like at Warwick.
- A Campus Tour led by a Student Ambassador.
What Warwick Visits don’t include:
- Unfortunately we are unable to offer visits to departments during Warwick Visits.
- It is unlikely that the Campus Tour will include a visit inside any student accommodation, however if this is possible it will be advertised next to the date below.
If you are interested in looking round a specific department and meeting some members of our Academic staff please consider one of our Open Days or a Department Open Day, check the department’s own webpage for details of these. All students made an offer to study at Warwick will be invited to a departmental open day, when they can visit the department and speak to academic staff.
Other ways to visit Warwick
If you are not able to attend an Open Day or Warwick Visit but are planning to come to Warwick on a different day, please call our Events & Enquiries team beforehand or call in at University House to get a visitors pack.
