We hope that you may be able to find some valuable information or inspiration regarding short term volunteer work in the South and the opportunities for independent travel.

Please bear in mind that not only is the society only three years old, this website was only created a few months ago. As a result many sections are currently empty or provide less information than we would like. We are doing our best to develop the website at the present time so please look out for new material. In particular those members who have recently returned from expeditions during this summer will be updating their sections as soon as possible.

At the present time the sections on Ghana and Nicuragua 2003 are the most up to date and informative sections.
