Bell Ringing Society

Warwick University Bell Ringing Society

Originally called the Warwick University Society of Change Ringers (WUSCR), Warwick University Bell-Ringing Society (WUBRS) was formed in 1995 and now has just over thirty student members. Our practice night is every Monday in termtime at Honiley Church (a six bell tower), where we are joined by a small number of non-student ringers from the local area.

We also have our own set of 16 handbells. About half the members have learnt to ring from scratch at university. Some are social members, preferring a drink in The Case instead.

There are also enough experienced ringers to ring some more complicated methods. Aside from our regular practices we also go on ringing tours to other areas of the country, and hold various socials, including an annual dinner.
