I am delighted that Warwick is developing its presence in London, a city that is already home to many of the country’s leading universities.
Warwick is an international institution. Our staff and students have impact across the world and we have exciting partnerships with leading organisations in many countries. It is fitting, therefore, that even within the UK – and as we continue to expand and develop our main campus in the midlands - we should also engage actively with the vibrant academic, student and policy communities in our capital. Warwick in London will create new opportunities for us and for the many people who learn and work with us.
We already run a number of outreach programmes to encourage talented students from all backgrounds to apply to Warwick. Having a base in London will help us to do more to widen participation and to reach the widest possible range of prospective applicants. It will also provide an excellent location for engagement with our wonderful Alumni community, thousands of whom live and work in London and the South East.
