Christmas in London

December is the perfect time to visit London as this is when the city comes alive with the magic of Christmas. We have deliberately kept the second evening of the programme free so that you can explore London and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Whether you want to do some shopping, visit a museum or theatre, or sing carols in Trafalgar Square, there will be a something seasonal for you. Alongside the excellent teaching, Christmas in London will provide a memorable all-round experience.

London is packed with festive markets and fantastic shopping during Christmas time, with plenty of options to choose from. For a jolly dose of festive London spirit, stroll through Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park for an epic celebration of all that is Christmas. You'll find winter markets, festive fairground rides, ice skating, warming winter food, grottos and of course plenty of mulled wine. Alternatively, you can head to Leicester Square for a traditional Christmas market with plenty of food, drink and christmas gift stalls, as well as a stocked programme of festive performances in the Spiegeltent. If buying gifts in on your list, why not spend time visiting the best Christmas shops London has to offer such as Harrods, Fortnum and Mason or Selfridges.

Head to Trafalgar Square and experience the wonder of various carol groups singing beneath the world-famous Trafalgar Square Christmas tree. Alternatively you can purchase tickets to watch Livability's Annual Christmas Carol Service at St Martin-in-the-Fields which is also in Trafalgar Square.
