The University of Warwick is delighted to be partnering with St Mary's University in Twickenham to deliver a London-based Summer School in July 2017. The Summer School will build on the great success of Warwick's Economics Summer School which has been running since 2014.

At the Summer School, students are able to debate and discuss issues with renowned academics including Ken Binmore, Marcus Miller and Abhinay Muthoo. We also attract top guest speakers and offer interactive sessions with eminent public figures. Nobel Prize winner George Akerlof, the former Cabinet Secretary and Head of the UK Civil Service Lord Gus O’Donnell and Lord Robert Skidelsky have all spoken in previous years..

The Warwick Summer School really does cater for everyone, with our Principles of Economics course also available to cater for people who do not have an economics background.

Engaging social and evening programme
Reflecting Warwick’s and St Mary's enterprising approach, our Summer School also offers a unique programme of social, cultural and evening events. Much of the programme offered is included in the tuition fee and allows students to socialise and relax through a range of activities. Past activities have included day trips to London and Oxford, sports tournaments and the popular curry, quiz and karaoke night.
Our Summer School will be academically rigorous, giving you the edge when you return to your University. Economics is ranked in the top 10 in major specialist subject league tables in the UK and Warwick is also rated as one of the top universities for graduate recruitment (High Fliers Research).
