Warwick students volunteered half a million pounds in 2006

Recently released figures show that Warwick students contributed around half a million pounds of their time to voluntary work in 2006. More than 2000 students undertook projects in their free time, working in schools, hospitals and old people’s homes around Coventry. Tasks included decorating, gardening, helping in the classroom and representing asylum seekers in the courts.
