Jobs.ac.uk hits record visitor numbers

jobs.ac.uk, the leading international job board for careers in academic, research, science and related professions, has announced a record number of visitors following the latest independent audit from ABC.

Figures released today by the ABC confirm that 726,627 Unique Browsers visited jobs.ac.uk during May 2012, a significant increase of 24% since the previous audit in 2011. Page impressions were in excess of 7 million, 8% up on last year.

These latest figures show that jobs.ac.uk is more popular than ever amongst academic, research and science professionals and is continuing to provide advertisers with an exceptional audience reach.

The increase in traffic is a result of recent investments made in improving the website, increasing its exposure worldwide and engaging with more academic jobseekers from across the globe. The specialist job board also launched a new CV database and its first mobile app for iPhone further driving traffic to the site.
