Introduction to Degree
This is our primary degree programme and is hosted wholly within the Department of Film and Television Studies. The course will move you through the foundations of film analysis, theory and history, to develop your understanding of specific national and historic film cultures, through to enabling you to specialise in topics of special interest, led by staff research expertise, with the opportunity to write and research an independent dissertation project.
AVAILABILITY OF MODULES
Potential applicants should note that the list of modules is for general information only. Which modules will be offered in a given year will be determined by the Head of Department in June of the year beginning the following October.
A level: AAB to include at least one of the following: English Literature, English Language-Literature (combined), Film Studies, History
IB: 36 points to include 5 in at least one of the following at Higher Level: English Literature, Film or History.
