All three were born in hospital by natural delivery with no complications. I was looked after by a midwife and my husband was present for the entire time for all of the births. I felt it was very important that he was there - it made this major event a shared experience that we had been through together.

For my first delivery I stayed in hospital for 4 days which was standard at the time. I was glad of this because they taught me how to breast feed and look after the baby. For the subsequent babies I came home within 24hours which was fine. I was very happy with my care in the maternity unit.
