Mother of three (born 1990s/2000s), from South-East England

First was an elective Caesarian, although the father is very squeamish he was there, and thrilled to hold the baby, and even overcame some of his squeamishness.

The other two were "normal" births. The middle one took a long time, and he was there the whole time, although he looked away when any injections happened.

The third was very fast, and he nearly had to deliver the baby himself at home. He did think about following in the car, but I told him he had to come in the ambulance as I knew there was no time.
