Teaching Fellow in African History

The Department of History seeks to appoint a full-time Teaching Fellow in African History for the next three academic years. In 2017/18, you will give lectures and take seminars on the first-year undergraduate module ‘Politics and Society in Africa from 1800.’ You will also take seminars on other undergraduate modules as required for a total of nine seminar groups of approximately fourteen students per group. Exact teaching responsibilities will be reviewed at the end of each academic year and adjusted if necessary. You will also teach occasional lectures for other undergraduate modules and contributed to postgraduate teaching as required by the Head of Department and as appropriate to subject knowledge.
