Find out more about life at Warwick

Whatever your interests, there's something for everyone on our lively campus - whether it's visiting the award-winning Warwick Arts Centre, taking advantage of our sports facilities or socialising in our bars and cafés. When you need a change of scenery there are peaceful spots too, with lakes, woodland and green spaces just a few minutes’ walk from central campus.

History Society (HistSoc)

As one of the biggest and most active societies on campus, HistSoc is an amazing way for you to make the most of your time here at Warwick, with a packed schedule of academic social and careers-based events and activities.

"HistSoc is the society for Warwick students who study or have a keen interest in history. The society is one of the largest and most influential on campus, with just over 800 members, representing nearly every degree, background and year of study. As an academic society, we organise essay workshops, a mentor programme and a variety of speakers to boost the aptitude of our members. As well as this, we organise various socials, including a foreign tour, an annual ball and a vast array of other activities and events. Overall, HistSoc is a fun and rewarding society that promotes academic excellence whilst dedicating time to the real and full university experience."

The Warwick History Hour

The Warwick History Hour is a regular radio slot on the student Radio RAWFM and is produced in collaboration with the University of Warwick's History Department.

The Warwick History Hour invites academics and researchers from within the department to come on and talk about what they're passionate about in history. Our excellent student panel then tease out this topic a little more and help quiz the interviewee. Episodes are shared on Spotify, you can listen hereLink opens in a new window!
