Research interests

My research interest focuses on Burial Reform Discourse in Nineteenth-Century England (c. 1830-1880).

I am a member of the Centre d'Histoire du XIXe siècle (EA 3550) at the University of Paris-Panthéon / Sorbonne and also a member of the Cemetery Research Group at the University of York.

Teaching

I teach French language for 1st and 2nd year students, to be more precise Grammar/Translation and Essay classes.

I have taken part in the creation and implementation of online grammar exercices (Perception), reading and listening coprhension exercises which students use to consolidate their knowledge and grammar skills.

I also worked for the Language Center and taught MBA/MIM French Beginners in Term 1 of 2016.

In 2014-2016, I was a lectrice in charge of 1st, 2nd and 4th year Oral classes. I also marked 3rd Year Abroad Essays.

Translations

I was commissioned to translate 3 papers given at an international colloquium at the University of Lille on 'Le Royaume de Naples à l'heure française. Revisiter l'histoire du Decennio Francese, 1806-1815.' The papers are to be published by Presses du Septentrion in early 2018.
