Starting in October 2017

Congratulations on your results; we look forward to welcoming you soon to Warwick!

Some of our students like to get a head start on some reading before starting their studies in the autumn. The document available HERE offers various suggestions on materials that will get you going, both in terms of language and of ‘content’ modules.

You will also find links to the relevant pages in other departments with which we run joint programmes. Use these lists as a bank of suggestions for reading. In some cases you may want to choose something lighter and slightly more introductory (for example, Tim Park’s books Italian Neighbours or An Italian Education are insightful and quite fun).

Reference books (such as dictionaries) are things that you can buy before coming to Warwick or acquire whilst here; many of the appropriate editions and grammar textbooks are available at the University Bookshop.

Happy reading!

Our Head of School's Welcome letter can be accessed HERE .

Please see the link HERE to access information about your first week at Warwick and HERE for our Induction Handbook.

You will receive a paper version of these documents in your information pack on Monday 2nd October but please note the times of the first few morning meetings before you arrive.

We're looking forward to meeting you all.
