German with French

This degree is designed for those who wish to develop the French they have acquired to A level standard or equivalent, but whose main interest lies in continuing the study of German language and exploring in depth contemporary German society and culture, as well as gaining an understanding of their development from the late 18th century onwards.

You will spend your year abroad either at a university or working as a language assistant in a country where German is spoken.

The below course structure is indicative. Modules on offer change year on year, dependent on staff research interests and availability.
