Vernacular Aristotelianism in Renaissance Italy (VARI) Database 

A searchable catalogue of records describing Aristotelian works written or published in Italian between 1400 and 1650. The census covers both manuscript and printed sources preserved in libraries in Italy, other European countries and the US. The database is the result of the previous AHRC project on Vernacular Aristotelianism. It is now hosted by the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa's TLIon project. This database features books printed in Italy (and in Italian outside of Italy) between 1501 and 1600. It includes detailed records on 25,000 authors, 5500 printers and booksellers, 2200 printers’ devices, 1400 dedications, and 2300 records of bibliographic sources and references.

Material Evidence in Incunabula (MEI)

This database, linked to the British Library's Incunabula Short Title Catalogue (ISTC) is designed to record and search material evidence and provenance information of 15th-century printed books: ownership, decoration, binding, manuscript annotations, stamps, prices, etc. It also records manuscript notes, classifying these according to their frequency, language, and type.
