  • Seventeenth-century religious poetry
  • Spirituality and religious writing, particularly by nonconformists and women
  • Women’s manuscript writing.
Current Projects

She leads the Perdita Project for early modern women’s manuscript compilations. An anthology of verse from women’s manuscripts by the Perdita team is coming out next year with Ashgate.

She is director of the John Nichols Project.
