Friday 18th September: An academic conference hosted by The Centre for the Study of the Country House at Leicester University
Plenary speakers will be Professor Anthony Fletcher, University of London, speaking on Justinian Isham, and Professor Elizabeth Hageman, University of New Hampshire, speaking on Elizabeth Isham's 'Booke of Rememberance'.
Saturday 19th September: A day of talks at Lamport Hall *Open to the public*
Talks by Lucy Worsley, on the seventeenth-century country house, and Professor Rebecca LaRoche, University of Colorado, on Elizabeth Isham's medical practice.
Elizabeth Clarke and Erica Longfellow will speak about the findings of the 'Constructing Elizabeth Isham' project.
