Society for Neo-Latin Studies

The Society for Neo-Latin Studies was founded about ten years ago and is the national organization in the UK for all scholars interested in literature of the early modern period written in Latin. The SNLS organizes regular conferences, panels, lectures and events for graduate students and hosts a selection of Neo-Latin texts (which can also be used for teaching) on its website. It aims to foster dialogue among scholars from different disciplines working on Neo-Latin literature, support the next generation of scholars and encourage teaching of this material.

To join the Society, please visit our Officers and Members page.

The Society for Neo-Latin Studies is a Registered Charity in England and Wales, EW41377.
