Welcome to the IAS SUMMER SCHOOL 2016! We are delighted that you will be joining us this summer, and look forward to meeting you in just a few weeks.
This section of the website has been updated with schedules, reading lists, readings, and other information.
Accommodation and travel
All participants will be accommodated in the Warwick University residence Rootes which is ideally located for the facilities on main campus. It is also 10 minutes walking distance from Millburn house where the school program will take place. The accommodation includes breakfast in Rootes restaurant. For more information on residence check here.
For participants traveling to the University of Warwick campus from London airports we suggest taking a train or bus to Coventry.
Buses to Coventry are run by National Express and come directly from London Airports to Pool Meadow (Coventry’s central bus station). These can be booked here. The trains booking check here. We recommend booking trains and advance.
To those arriving at Birmingham airport, we suggest getting a train directly from the airport to Coventry railway station.
From both Coventry railway station and central bus station there are connections to campus: buses 11, 11U or 12X. Here you can check the bus timetables.
