Pedagogic Research in HE

The Pedagogic Research in HE learning circle is a new initiative from lead Kate Mawson, who is a highly-experienced educator and WIHEA Fellow. The circle will discuss pedagogy research papers, engage collectively with innovative pedagogy practices and policies, and analyse research by asking the following questions:

  • How could the research be translated into improved learning and teaching in our own discipline?
  • Should the research inform our teaching practice or our departmental learning and teaching philosophy?

The team will produce papers that will be used to inform learning and teaching innovations and philosophy across the institution and support WIHEA Fellows in their own pedagogy research.

All WIHEA Fellows are encouraged to join this circle, regardless of teaching or journal club experience. During the 2017/18 Academic year we are also accepting registrations from interested colleagues not currently part of WIHEA.
