Inclusive Teaching Forum: BME Student Experience and Creating an Anti-Racist Classroom

There has been increasing awareness around the challenges students of colour face in higher education and the impact of racism on student experiences. The Inclusive Teaching Forum provides an opportunity for teaching staff to get together to discuss and learn more about BME student experiences in the Arts and Social Science faculties, challenges in addressing issues of racism in the classroom, and how we can create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

The first Inclusive Teaching Forum is taking place for Arts and Social Science teaching staff only on Wednesday, 25 October 2017 at 3.30pm to 6.30pm in Room R0.14. There are limited places so please register using this link and the project team will contact you to confirm your place.
