Window on Teaching: Virtual Reality in learning, teaching and the student experience

The session will begin with a brief, facilitated VR experience, and will then cover the findings from our recent Kickstart VR at Warwick project. This will include advice on:
- types of VR experience
- the value of VR in HE teaching
- how to integrate VR activities into existing teaching practice
- technologies available now and coming soon - for using VR and creating VR
- when not to use VR
- practices for ensuring safety, ethics and well-being
The second half of the session will use Virtual Speech, a VR app that helps users to improve their public speaking, presentations and interview skills.
Lunch will be provided.
