WIHEA Seminar Series - The Future shape of Educational Excellence

Location: The Wolfson Research Exchange, Floor 3, Main Library

Professor Janice Kay, CBE, Provost at the University of Exeter will consider educational excellence in a new political era. The session will consider the future role of TEF and subject level TEF, how these exercises will shape the thinking of students and higher education institutions about excellence in education and the importance of students as participants in their own learning in the context of increased marketisation.

Prior to her role as Provost, Professor Kay spent 10 years as Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Education during which time the University consistently achieved top 10 nationally in the National Student Survey and she has recently appointed the Deputy Chair of the TEF Panel.

WIHEA Fellows (only) are invited to join Janice at 3.30pm and all staff were invited to the presentation at 4pm. However, places are now filled, but if you would like to register your interest please email WIHEA@warwick.ac.uk we will contact you if a place becomes available.
