When you Apply:

If your overall academic record is very strong, we encourage you to apply even if your certified English score is weaker than the requirements below. We also understand that even if you have a Language test pending or recently taken, you may not have the result available when you apply. If you have clear plans as to how to improve, such an arranged English-speaking stay or language course registration, include that information in your application. Likewise make sure you have told us about any test result pending, and do upload it when you hear.

When you join the Course:

We require an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no component mark scoring less than 6.0. We can also take account of other evidence of language proficiency.

If you are joining the course at Ecole Polytechnique, you may be required to take some preparatory training in French Language.

There are no prior requirements in Swedish Language. Students in Gothenburg will of course have informal opportunity to learn some Swedish.
