Pedagogical Research
Pedagogy is the art of teaching. These resources provide a theorhetical and wide-ranging view of the theories surrounding teaching and learning in Higher Education. For practical advise see Teaching Methods below.
Postgraduate Teachers
Postgraduate Teachers, or Graduate Teaching Assistants, often teach the bulk of seminar groups in first-year or survey courses. These resources are aimed to aid in the transition between student and teacher and provide support in teaching subjects outwith their research topic.

History students will develop a wide-range of skills throughout their education, both to enhance their learning experience while in university and to increase there chances of employment after it. These resources include material on student research, enquiry and problem-based learning, and the development of transferable skills

Student Engagement

Our approach to student engagement considers students as active partners in shaping their learning experiences. Our work in this area will promote the value of student engagement and highlight examples of effective practice: sharing evidence-informed practice on students working to shape their learning experience.
