Developing Historical Thinking is a collaborative project developed by academics and postgraduate students at Edge Hill University and the University of Roehampton. The aim of the project is to enhance the learning experience and outcomes of first year undergraduate students on modules focused on historical enquiry by providing additional online resources and by providing formative feedback to students on the development of historical thinking.
The project is disseminated through a blog, through free workshops, through conference presentations and through open access toolkits showcasing the strategies that are being developed. The Roehampton and Edgehill toolkits are available from the link on the right.
The project is funded by The Higher Education Academy and match funded by Edge Hill University and Roehampton University..
