July eBulletin

FAREWELL

This is the final ebulletin from the History Subject Centre. At the time of writing, there has been no announcement about the new discipline lead for History and therefore, unfortunately, we cannot bring you news of plans for our discipline in the future. For general details please see the Higher Education Academy website: http://www.heacademy.ac.uk/disciplines/history. The Subject Centre will remain operational until the end of October 2011 for transition and reporting purposes and you may contact us on the e-mail address below. Although our website will be archived on 1 August 2011, it and all of our electronic resources will remain available indefinitely at their current web addresses. We will also be transferring some resources to Humbox - the online repository for teaching and learning in the Humanities. Our final publications are detailed below and include two new Historical Insights as well as a major publication marking the end of our History Graduates with Impact project.

The Subject Centre staff: Melodee Beals, Kerry Drakeley, Lisa Lavender, Sarah Richardson and Tracy Smith would like to thank you for all your support and wish you best wishes for the future.

Dr Sarah Richardson, Director History Subject Centre
