The valuable experiences of colleagues in History are requested in two online surveys that are now open:

The 'Teaching History in Higher Education' survey is part of a History Subject Centre project led by Alan Booth from the University Nottingham, and completing it will make an important contribution to building community resources on teaching history. There is a £100 prize draw available upon full completion of the survey, in either Amazon vouchers, or to a charity of your choosing. It will take no more than 20 minutes to complete. The closing date is 30th October 2010.

A survey on 'Assessment of Workplace Learning (WPL) in UK Undergraduate History Courses is an important part of a second Subject Centre funded project led by Richard Hawkins and Harvey Woolf from Wolverhampton. The aim is to capture for the first time information on the range of WPL learning and how it is assessed. This survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete, and closes on 5th November 2010.
