psychologyThe School of Psychology at Nottingham offers excellent opportunities for postgraduates both during and beyond the PhD, with an excellent track record in supporting students into post-doctoral work. The staff and majority of their research were classed as either world-leading or internationally excellent in the last Reserch Excellence Framework (REF) exercise.

The School has particular strengths in the following areas:

Personality, Social Psychology and Health Applied Cognitive Psychology (including the Accident Research Unit) Cognitive Development and Learning
Social Neurosicence Vision Motor Control
