Jonathan Smith writing prizes
Jonathan Smith, Leicester 2013 student, has won two writing prizes. He attributes his success to the experience he gained during his PIPs placement in the editing team at Research Media Ltd. PIPs placements are undertaken during the training year of the MIBTP programme; lasting for approximately three months the purpose of these placement is to give students experience in a professional environment.
Jonathan won a competitive media internship with the Society of Experimental Biology in 2016 and also won 1st prize in the 2016 student essay competition run by Royal Entomological Society
