My name is Mike Perryman and I’m a PhD student in the Fox Group.

Profile I began my undergraduate degree at the University of Warwick in 2007 and completed my MChem with Industrial Experience in 2011. In 2010 my industrial placement was with GlaxoSmithKline where I synthesised novel compounds of pharmacological interest. In my final year I completed my research project, supervised by Dr Fox, looking at trends in asymmetric transfer hydrogenation reactions. I began my PhD in September 2011 looking at the reduction of new substrates using asymmetric transfer hydrogenation.1
