Alex Simula

 Biography:

Alexandre Simula was born in Annemasse, France in 1988. He completed his undergraduate studies for a Masters in Chemistry, with a specialization on Lipids and Industrial Applications at the Graduate School of Chemistry, Biology and Physics (ENSCBP), in Bordeaux between 2008 and 2012.

His first Master project was carried out in the LCPO in Bordeaux under the supervision of Pr. Sebastien Lecommandoux. The project was entitled 'Synthesis and Characterization of biocompatible polymers for drug loading'.

His second Master project was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Remzi Becer and Pr. David M. Haddleton. The project was entitled ' Functional Polymers for nanomedicines & Photoinducible click chemistry'.

During his undergraduate studies, Alex managed to work in different companies, such as Takasago (Fragrances & Flavors), Firmenich (Fragrances & Flavors) and Siegwerk Packaging (Ink industry).

Alex started his PhD in 2012 under the supervision of Pr. David M. Haddleton. It is founded by Lubrizol.
