Dr. Georgina Rayner

 Biography:


Georgina Rayner was born in Gillingham, Kent in 1986. She completed her undergraduate studies for a Masters in Chemistry at the University of Warwick between 2004 and 2008, graduating with 1st Class Honours. Her masters project was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Scott Turner and was entitled 'Spin Transition Metal Conductors'.


Georgina started her PhD in 2008 under the supervision of Professor David Haddleton. It is jointly funded by chemical additives company, The Lubrizol Corporation and The University of Warwick. She is currently in the third and final year or her PhD research.


Research interests:


The use of verdazyl radicals for a sulfur and metal free controlled radical polymerisation

Dopamine functionalised polymers
