Funding Opportunities

A scholarship is a prestigious award designed to support you in your academic pursuits. These awards provide a unique way for recipients to advance their education while having some of the means provided for by the scholarship. Our scholarships aim to empower students to reach their full potential in their academic study of Computer Science and beyond.

The opportunities on offer will vary over time; we recommend checking back regularly for any new scholarships or bursaries that may become available.

Opportunities in Computer Science

Opportunities available for 2024 entrants include:

QUBE Scholarship for Women in Computing

Number of Scholarships Available: 3
Scholarship Award: £9,000 (£3,000 per year for three years, paid termly)
Available for: BSc and MEng undergraduates on DCS courses (CS, CSE, CSBS, and Discrete Mathematics)

The QUBE Women in Computing Scholarship is a scheme that has been set up to support women into computing education at the University of Warwick.

The scholarships will be awarded to three DCS students at the start of the 2024-25 academic year, with a short application process including a brief personal statement and a chat with nominated academics. Scholars will be selected on the basis of both the information given in the supporting statement, and financial need.

There are no special academic requirements to receive or maintain the Scholarship; but Women in Computing Scholars will be expected to be productive and engaged members of the DCS community, and support initiatives such as open days and student outreach activities.

Invitations to apply for the QUBE Women in Computing Scholarships will be sent out to all students at the start of the 2024 academic year.
