Workshop at Burapha University

Empirical Modelling for Education and Business

at Burapha University, Thailand on 16th - 17th May 2013. The venue is the Faculty of Informatics at the Chon Buri Campus.

The aim of the Workshop is to introduce the principles and tools of Empirical Modelling as well as some examples of applications in Education and Business.

For more details about Empirical Modelling go to the home page and follow the tabs for Introduction and Application areas.

The goal of the Workshop is that participants should be enabled to appreciate the principles of Empirical Modelling, download and access the tools, access many resources, begin exploration of existing models and undertake development of their own new models. There will be tutorial assistance throughout the Workshop and (limited!) online support following the Workshop. The Workshop will have only a nominal charge which will include lunch and refreshment on both days, but registration is essential.

It is highly recommended that participants attend for both days of the Workshop. It will be possible to attend for only one of the days but this obviously will limit the learning and experience that can be gained.

Full details of the Workshop, and details of registration and pre-Workshop materials, can be found here. A chrononological account of the workshop with links to associated resources can be found here.
