Wei He joined Power and Control Systems Laboratory in School of Engineering at the University of Warwick as a Research Assistant/Fellow in 2015. Wei received his BEng and MSc degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU, China) in 2009 and 2012, respectively. Then, he started to pursue his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Queen Mary University of London, UK, focusing on osmotic energy generation and its application in water desalination. In 2015, Wei received Chinese Student Award from Great Britain Educational Trust and Doctoral Research Award from Association of British Turkish Academy according to his excellent work of his PhD project. Now, he is working as a research staff on the EPSRC funded project ‘Next Generation Grid Scale Thermal Energy Storage Technologies (NexGen-TEST)’.
