This is our miniature turntable. The table top has a diameter of 0.4 m. Maximum rotation rates are around 3Hz.

This minitable is usually used to 'try out ideas quickly' . It is often used by final year students for their 3rd year projects. The table is controlled manually by an internal control unit visible on the front panel. The table incorporates a self-made three-channel slip-ring assembly which is used to make mains 220 V AC available on the table.
