Scholarships from the Institutes of Engineering

Listed below are a number of the major scholarships available to engineering undergraduates in the UK. The course you have applied for at Warwick must be accredited by the relevant Institute for you to be eligible.

IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology)

The IET offers an impressive range of scholarships both for students just starting university (of up to £1,000 per annum) and those commencing the second, third, or final years of their degrees (of up to £1,000 per annum). The deadline for applications is usually June.The IET also offers various other forms of undergraduate financial assistance. Please note that the Warwick engineering courses accredited by the IET and eligible for these scholarships are Automotive Engineering (H330/H335), Electronic Engineering (H610/H612), General Engineering (H100/H102) and Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering (HH73/HH37).

IMechE (Institution of Mechanical Engineers)

The IMechE offers a number of undergraduate scholarships for students about to embark upon their degree (of up to £1,000 per annum.) Please note that the Warwick engineering courses accredited by the IMechE and eligible for these scholarships are Automotive Engineering (H330/H335), Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering (HH73/HH37) and Mechanical Engineering (H300/H302).

ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers)

The ICE offers a number of QUEST Undergraduate Scholarships for students about to start the first year of their degree (of £2,500 per annum) See the website for latest details: http://www.ice.org.uk/Membership/Scholarship-and-Awards/QUEST-Awards The deadline for applications is usually June. A QUEST Undergraduate Scholarship involves partnership with a civil engineering or construction company. Please note that the only Warwick engineering courses accredited by the ICE and eligible for these scholarships are Civil Engineering (H200/H202).
