LMS Network in Harmonic Analysis and PDE 2008

General Information

This workshop is a one day event in Harmonic Analysis/PDE's funded in part by the LMS Scheme 3 Grant "The UK Harmonic Analysis and PDE's Research Network" and will take place at Warwick University.

All lectures will take place in Room B3.03 (Zeeman Building - Maths Dept)

10:00 - 11:00 - Sandra Pott - The product space of functions of logarithmic mean oscillation

11:00 - 11:30 - Coffee Break

11:30 - 12:30 - Pieter Blue - Decay of fields around black holes

12:20 - 2:00 - Lunch

2:00 - 3:00 - Michael Cowling - Regularity of quasiconformal mappings

3:00 - 3:30 - Tea Break

3:30 - 4:30 - John Toland - Steady periodic water waves under nonlinear elastic membranes

The seminars will be followed by drinks at a local Kenilworth pub and an informal dinner at 7. Venue Harrringtons (Kenilworth). Please contact J. Rodrigo if you plan to attend the dinner.
