2008/09 Warwick EPSRC Symposium on Challenges in Scientific Computing

Organiser: Andrew Stuart

Computational science now underpins most of the major research activities undertaken on this planet. The goal of this Symposium is to create a year-long sustained research activity in which a number of important subjects within computational science are highlighted, challenges identified, and research problems formulated and tackled. This will be achieved through a launch event in which the scientific focii of the year will be introduced, six small focussed workshops, an overarching Capstone Conference, and a visitor program.
