Title: Iterated-integral signature and machine learning

Abstract: The iterated-integral signature is a fundamental mathematical object coming from the theory of differential equations. Given a path in R^d, the truncated signature provides a "summary" of the shape of the path. Combining the signature with machine learning algorithms can be helpful for solving problems like handwriting recognition and speech recognition.
